Graduate Competencies<\/strong><\/p><\/p>\n\n

Upon completion of their undergraduate studies, graduates of the Bachelor\u2019s degree program in Biomedical Engineering possess the following competencies:<\/p>\n\n

A. Basic Knowledge<\/h2>\n\n

A.1 Possess the ability to apply science and technology to solve problems in the medical field, based on scientific principles and morality.<\/p>\n\n

A.2 Possess the ability to keep up with scientific developments at both national and international levels, particularly in the field of biomedical engineering.<\/p>\n\n

B. Analytical Skills<\/h2>\n\n

B.1 Possess the ability to solve problems in the field of biomedical engineering.<\/p>\n\n

B.2 Possess the ability to interpret data obtained from measurements of the human body system.<\/p>\n\n

C. Professional Skills<\/h2>\n\n

Graduates with a bachelor\u2019s degree in Biomedical Engineering can generally be categorized into two areas of expertise: those with expertise in medical instrumentation, and those with expertise in biomaterials.<\/p>\n\n

C.1 Professional skill competencies for the field of Medical Instrumentation<\/p>\n\n

C.1.1 Possess the ability to interpret medical instrumentation systems<\/p>\n\n

C.1.2 Possess the ability to design medical electronic systems<\/p>\n\n

C.1.3 Possesses the ability to process biomedical signals and images<\/p>\n\n

C.2 Professional skill competencies for the field of biomaterials<\/p>\n\n

C.2.1 Possesses the ability to perform biomaterial engineering for medical applications<\/p>\n\n

C.2.2 Possess the ability to analyze biomaterials for medical implantation and prostheses<\/p>\n\n

D. Transferable Skills<\/h2>\n\n

Capable of communicating and working within multidisciplinary teams to evaluate medical instrumentation systems and biomaterials, while possessing a sense of professional and ethical responsibility regarding issues related to the medical field.<\/p>\n\n
