The “Merdeka Belajar – Kampus Merdeka” (Freedom to Learn – Independent Campus) policy, launched by the Minister of Education and Culture, serves as a framework to prepare university students to become resilient graduates—individuals who are relevant to the demands of the times and ready to emerge as leaders with a strong sense of national spirit. The foundation for the implementation of this policy is outlined in the Minister of Education and Culture Regulation (Permendikbud) Number 3 of 2020, which establishes National Higher Education Standards. These standards grant students the right to pursue coursework outside of their home institution for up to two semesters (equivalent to 40 credits) and to take courses in a different study program within their own institution for one semester (equivalent to 20 credits). The study-tracking application is designed to improve the quality of data collection for the purpose of assessing distance learning processes. Furthermore, it serves as a tool to evaluate student performance throughout their participation in the *Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka* (Freedom to Learn-Independent Campus) program.
